Deputy Manager – Permanent – Malvern

Halcyon are working exclusively with a Charity-owned, forward-thinking organisation who are looking for a strong Deputy Manager to come and join their growing team in their residential home in Greater Malvern.

As the Deputy Manager of this residential service, you will be responsible for leading and running the home in the absence of the Registered Manager. Your other responsibilities will include:

  • Organising the staff rota’s
  • Ensuring the home is CQC compliant 
  • Assisting the registered manager in a variety of duties
  • Ensuring a high standard of person centred care is adhered to at all times
  • Staff training and support

This could be a great role for a Senior Support Worker looking to step-up, or for a Deputy Manager that is looking to progress into their next role. In order to be successful in this role, you will need the following;

  • NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care
  • NVQ level 5 in leadership and management, or be willing to work towards it
  • At least 2 years working in a residential service as a senior or above
  • A keen understanding of Safeguarding and CQC Compliance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and drive to succeed
