James Gardner

Chief Executive Officer

Phone Number: 01242 502007

Email Address: james@halcyonhsc.com

Biography

James Gardner founded Halcyon Health & Social Care after making the brave decision to leave the corporate recruitment world and build a business that reflected the kind of service he truly believed in. Feeling restricted by the corporate environment he had moved from, James saw the opportunity to create something more personal, more responsive and more focused on people.

That decision became the foundation of Halcyon, a business built around relationships, trust and a genuine commitment to quality within the health and social care sector. James wanted to create a recruitment partner that clients could rely on and candidates could feel part of, with service shaped by understanding, integrity and real care.

Today, that vision continues to drive Halcyon forward. The Management team have a passion for building lasting partnerships, supporting growth and ensuring the company stays true to the values it was founded on.

Achievement

So, the strongest achievement points for James would be:

  • Founded Halcyon to deliver a more personal, specialist and relationship-led service
  • Helped launch the business in the West Midlands and drive rapid expansion across the UK.
  • Named CEO of the Year 2021 for Cheltenham by CEO Monthly
